ARCADE The Arc's new scheme for professional practitioners working in performance
ARC is proud to announce the launch of ARCADE. We are hoping you can help us spread the word.
ARCADE is a free membership scheme open to professional practitioners working in performance (primarily theatre, dance and spoken word) in the Tees Valley or surrounding area.
It is designed to bring professional practitioners together, to network and collaborate, to share ideas and resources, and to support the creation of new work in the region.
Membership of ARCADE is free and offers the following:
· Free tickets to dance, drama and spoken word performances at ARC
· Access to free professional development workshops at ARC
· One to one surgery sessions with ARC programming, technical and marketing staff
· Invitations to VIP events, talks, work in progress sharings and other events
· Opportunities to take part in new Tees Valley ‘scratch’ nights
We know that many practitioners work in isolation or in small groups and through this scheme, we aim to create a wider network of performance artists across the Tees Valley.
Anyone interested in joining the scheme is invited to come along to our launch reception at 6.45pm on Wednesday 6 October at ARC,
and to stay on and watch that evening’s performance of 6.0 How Heap and Pebble Took on the World and Won by Dancing Brick http://www.arconline.co.uk/detail.php?id=2090
RSVPs should be sent to me by email to either attend the event, arrange complimentary tickets for the show or just to register interest in joining the scheme. Further details will then be sent out following the launch.
Any help you can give us in reaching as many artists and practitioners as possible via your networks would be gratefully received.
Apologies for any cross-posting.
Best wishes
Annabel Turpin
