Dominic Tome
I am a male Zimbabwean songwriter and performing artist who fuses Dancehall Reggae and Old School R n B. I've been performing live since 13 at school variety shows and I beleive I have what it takes to cut the mustard.

I've played at the Sage for Masquerade (an event which commemorated the bicentenery of the abolition of slavery in the North East in 2007). It was my own material which I designed specifically for this event and the kids and their parents genuinely loved it. Even my collegues who attended and also those gifted individuals I performed alongside felt and thought the same.

Granted the opportunity, I am convinced that great things await my country, my family, my friends and my fans.

Dr. Chun-Chao Chiu specialises in various art forms, including painting, drawing, cooking and installation, to respond to contemporary experience. He has had major exhibitions at Waygood Gallery, Newcastle, Chinese Arts Centre, Manchester, Alnwick Gardens, and Levens Hall Garden in Cumbria. He is an experienced art educator, who has worked with many schools across the North East region. He leads arts workshops focusing on the traditional Chinese arts and crafts. In 2007/08, he worked with schools in Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead to make two 50 metre long dragons for the launch event of East 08, supported by Culture 10. Through his practice he aims to increase understanding of cultural diversity within art education, as well as exploring how to use new materials to express traditional Chinese themes within the context of modern Britain.

My name is Elizabeth Sunduzwayo and now live in the North East of England. I am a gifted music composer and singer. I have recorded four albums of gospel (both for praise and worship and celebration) from my home country, Zimbabwe with my music group, ‘The Olives'. I have recently released a CD of this music which is available to buy from me. The Album, ‘The Best of The Olives’, contains 12 songs, some in Shona and some in English and gives a flavour of my work. Presently, I am compiling new songs that I have written and am looking forward to recording them this year. Now that I live in England, I am looking for talented musicians: vocalists, pianist, guitarist and drummer who would like to join with me in producing new good quality music of this kind. Apart from writing music, I have developed great passion in writing poems and books. I am in the process of writing a book ‘Waiting for God’s appointed Time’ which is based on my experience of walking with God. My wish is to find sponsors or a publisher for this book. I am Chairperson of a new Voluntary Organization, ‘New Hope’ set up to help orphans and children with disabilities in Zimbabwe. From the sale of my CDs and published books, I intend to donate 10% of proceeds to ‘New Hope’. If you would like to know more about ‘New Hope’ or get involved, please contact me via email: esunduzwayo@yahoo.co.uk

I am a musician and music teacher. I play Piano, Saxophone and sing. I am also a songwriter and composer of music for media.
I have performed with various bands and musical groups from medieval to Italian folk through rock, pop and jazz. I am also very happy to accompany singers and other instrumentalists or dance groups and group sing-alongs.
In short, an opportunity to exchange my musical services for money (or in some cases for free) makes me a very happy person indeed.

I am the Director of Etrois a Newcastle based troupe brimming with burlesque and cabaret inspired shows. Bringing everything avant-garde to the stage for the entertainment of audiences across the North East of England.

Etrois, have worked with numerous private clients, for festivals, birthdays and weddings (we launched the 2010
Jesmond Festival on March 10th and performed at the 2010 ScienceFest Hula Hoopathon 12th March and we were even contacted by ITV to take part in the tv programme Four Weddings). I am a dancer, choreorapher and teacher with about 30 years professional experience.

I originally trained as a dancer in the early 1980's at The Urdang Academy of Ballet and Performing Arts. I have since danced and choreographed throughout the UK and Europe including TV appearances and musicals (though I must admit I am no singer). I recently produced and performed a solo show called Urban Horizons which premiered at Queens Hall Theatre in Hexham. I also run a community interest company that promotes and helps communities develop ideas for large scale events or projects, we have become particularly well known for producing carnival processions. In recent years I have been able to get more involved in digital video and sound, which has been a passion of mine for many years now.

I am very interested in Yoga and try practice as much as I can.

In June 2009 I graduated from Dartington College of Arts. The degree course allowed me to excel in many areas including a number of valuable experiences working with youth.
During my time at university I was involved in numerous activities bringing young people and performance art together.
I have taken part in projects facilitating small groups in theatre practice and music, located at various schools and colleges.
On leaving Dartington I returned home to Newcastle Upon Tyne with a renewed understanding of what it was to live on my own and to challenge myself with both work and money management. I have since been working with Shameless Enterprises building sets for the upcoming television production of ‘George Gently’ for the BBC. I have also been working on a voluntary basis at a the YMCA for a local Community Radio Station whilst producing music for London based dance company, Uproar Street Dance.
Currently, I work mostly independently in two fast paced bars, serving, handling money and maintaining the bar and cellar area. Previous jobs have included being in charge of a team at Tynemouth market, organizing the placement of staff, setting up stalls etc. and allowing the market to work and run smoothly, sometimes with a lot of pressure to meet requirements. With regards to these and other work experiences I have been able to enhance my independence and ability to work both collectively and as a leader.
