| I am a British citizen hailing from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I was born in Ivory Coast on the 27th of December 1983. My parents are Muanza Ntumba and Ntulu Lota Albert Kamanga and I am the youngest of four siblings.
I achieved my Brevet des collèges (BEPC) at Lemania High School. I then moved to the United Kingdom where I continued my education and attained my GCSE (Maths, GNVQ in Science) and A’level (AVCE in Science) qualifications from Newcastle College. Furthermore, I am currently in my final year of a BSC in Construction Management studying at Northumbria University. I have been predicted to achieve Upper Second Class (2:1). Having pursued the acquisition of a plethora of skills through formal education, I have reawakened my interest in a longstanding passion of mine which is the production, organization and management of events. I believe myself to be a hard working individual, which I feel, is strongly reflected in my approach to my current studies and personal development events I have coordinated and been part of. I am confident of my abilities and I am able to manage my time well, always meeting deadlines in time. Currently, I am a final year student, a part-time employee at TJX Europe and an aspiring event manager in the making. Moving between these different identities/responsibilities has enhanced my capacity to deal with various challenges. This has made me feel confident at addressing any event that may require a lot of effort and dedication. I often participate in extracurricular activities that contribute greatly to the development of my experience and skills. I have a great passion for basketball that has led to representing my schools and university team at various levels. These commitments have taught me about dedication, focus, commitment, and good time management which I believe to be essential skills for this industry. My ability to motivate myself is a key factor in my overall success. I always work to the best of my ability in order to achieve high levels of self-discipline, self-reliance and initiative. My personal qualities as well as my ability to apply myself to my studies, hobbies and extracurricular activities make me an appropriate candidate. |
